Keith & Pat Stoterau go above and beyond to Make Great Happen at their Avoca, Iowa location every Thanksgiving.  This year was no exception.  For those guests who did not have plans or anyone with whom to spend the holidays, they were truly surprised and thankful to receive a feast fit for King or Queen.  Pat prepared food, which included 52 lbs. of turkey and 30 lbs. of ham with lots of homemade sides and desserts.  They fed approximately 50 employees and guests.

Jennifer, who was traveling from Alaska to Florida, wrote the following on Trip Advisor after experiencing Keith & Pat's hospitality on this very special Thanksgiving Day...

Imagine being 3000 miles from home and friends on Thanksgiving Day...planning to make a bologna sandwich with stuff in the cooler.  BUT, as luck would have it, we decided to call it a short day on our journey to Florida (from Alaska), watch a little football and relax.  THEN, the phone rings and we are invited to share this special holiday with the owners and their employees!  Home cooking and wonderful company for the afternoon.  We couldn't have asked for more.....and we had a lovely, clean room also.

A special memory of our trip.....but, I'll bet they are always so very kind.  We highly recommend a stay in Avoca, Iowa.......even if you have to make an unplanned exit from the highway.
